The US online newspaper, Huffington Post, has cited Mai Chau and Phu Quoc among 45 of the Most Stunning Paradises in the World.

Mai Chau, Hoa Binh. Blogger Willful And Wildhearted said, "Tucked away in the Northern hills of Vietnam, Mai Chau in an area untouched by tourism and the hustle and bustle of the nation's larger cities. I was fortunate enough to do a home stay with a minority tribe in July 2014, which was one of the most eye opening and life changing experiences I've had to date. I loved it so much I'll be returning this spring!"
